Wind Output Calculator
The following wind calculator will allow you to estimate the performance of a wind turbine at any geographic location in the UK. Wind speeds are calculated according to the UK NOABL windspeed database which works out wind speeds according to your postcode location in metres per second. Simply choose which wind turbine you would like to assess, input your postcode and then proposed mounting height with terrain conditions and press submit. Output figures are calculated and equivalent savings are provided in the table below.
All results that this software calculates are based on engineering calculations that use standard manufacturer’s data and wind industry methods and are independent estimates.
