Working with Mulalleys building contractor, Enviko installed a 42kWp system over two roofs for Camden housing association. The roofs posed a challenge from a design point of view due to their layout and composition.
A combination of ballast and bracing was designed to use for the mounting system. Two large Zeversolar 20kW inverters were installed on the ground floor to accompany the 160 Risen 250Wp modules installed on the roof.
The system installed generates approximately 40,000kWh or units a year and will look to give the building a good input into its power requirements over the year aswell as lowering the EPC rating for the dwellings and boosting the housing associations green credentials.

The financial logic becomes obvious when you consider that returns on these systems can be as high as 15% and the obvious fact that traditional energy prices have risen far faster than inflation
