Even cold air is full of energy and air source heat pumps use the freely available heat in the ambient air to provide efficient heating, even at extremely low temperatures in excess of -15C. Air source heat pumps have an outdoor unit that is used to extract and expel the air taken into the system and some models have a separate indoor unit as well.

Enviko source, install and service Air Source heat pumps across the UKCoupled with a domestic hot water tank the right air source heat pump will provide all space heating and domestic hot water for a residential property all year round.

There is no need for any additional boilers or heating systems providing the system is sufficiently sized.

Low temperature units are the most efficient heat pumps, they provide a flow temperature of 50 degrees, which is ideal for underfloor heating. Coupled with high insulation, ASHP’s are a logical choice for new build projects. Read case study.

Advantages of Owning an Air Source Heat Pump

  • Advantages of Owning an Air Source Heat Pump Reduce your current fuel bills, especially when replacing conventional oil and electric heating systems.
